KHUDIRAM : THE YOUNGEST MARTYR
Khudiram Bose was one of the youngest Revolutionaries of the Indian Independence Movement.He was also the most Prominent Figure in 'India's fight for Freedom from British Rule.He was also known for his Leadership qualities.
Khudiram Bose was the first MARTYR at the early twentieth century. Khudiram Bose will always be remembered in the History of 'Indian Independence'.Khudiram Bose was born on December 3,1889 in a small village of Keshpur in Midnapur District ( Now in Paschim Midnapore),West Bengal. He was the forth child of Sri Trilokya Nath Bose and Lakhi Priya Devi.Khudiram was a student of Midnapore Collegiate. He was among the teenage student community of the town which was fired up with a burning Inspiration of Revolution. At the age of only sixteen,he planted Bombs near police station and targeted govt. officials.
The Muzaffarpur Incident:

In 1908, The revolutionaries made a plan to kill Kingsford. Khudiram and Prafulla Chaki were sent to Muzaffarpur to assassinate Kingsford.Operation Assassinate Kingsford
On the evening of April 30,1908 the duo waited in front of the gate of European Club for the carriage of kingsford to come out. When a vehicle came out of the gate,they threw bombs.But unfortunately, two innocent British Lady, Mrs & Miss Kennedy were killed.The revolutionary duo fled. Prafulla committed suicide when cornered by the British Police and Khudiram was later arrested. On May 1, Khudiram was bought to Muzaffarpur. The entire town descended at police station to take a look at the young boy surrounded by a team of armed police. He was taken to the
House of the District Magistrate Mr. Woodman, and Khudiram took up the whole responsibility of the entire operation and the lose of lives solely upon himself to protect his Revolutionary Mentors and group. For better confirmation British police cut off Prafulla's head from his body and send it to Kolkata.
THE HISTORICAL TRIAL :
The historical trial started on 21 May,1908. The Judge was Mr.Corndoff and two Indians,Nathuni Prasad and Janak Prasad were appointed as Jury. Mr. Mannuk and Binodbihari Mazumdr become the prosecutors for the British Government,while Kalidas Basu,,Upendra Nath Sen and kshetra Nath Bandopadhay took up Khudiram's defense.Nagendra Lal,Satish Chandra Chakroborty and Kulkamal Sen joined later in the trial.
After a long trial process The Judge pronounced the death sentence for Khudiram.Khudiram's defense team appealed to The High Court against the judgement then.The High Court hearing took place on July,8. This time Narendra Kumar Basu concentrated all his legal skills and experience to save the life of the precious boy,who had already become a Hero for the whole Country.But on the Day of Historic Judgement,The British Judges passed the Sentence that they and their British Government decided.
As a final attempt, an appeal was made to the Governor General to overrule a death sentence for Khudiram. But the appeal was summarily turned down—the British were scared to fight. The order came to carry out the death sentence latest by 11 August 1908.
KHUDIRAM BOSE, who surprised many by embracing his death gracefully by going to the gallows with a smile on his face.
